Over 700,000 biospecimens, including unstained slides, tissue blocks, frozen and fresh tissue and fluids like plasma or serum from various disease sites from NRG Oncology trials and RTOG Legacy trials are stored at the NRG Biospecimen Bank. Extensive clinical follow-up data exist on the patients. De-identified samples are distributed to qualified outside researchers who comply with CTEP and Biospecimen Bank access policies and are funded to carry out projects.
